Getting Started with Clinical Supervision
One of my career pillars since its beginning has been mentorship and supervision. As part of my values. I can support you to practice to the highest reaches of your potential as a therapist. Enjoying your work and your life while allowing it to become deep and meaningful are critical to avoid burnout and work inconvenience.
A psychotherapist’s clinical work is one of the most sensitive parts of our day to day; therefore, it’s important to reflect about it within a safe environment. Ongoing supervision and consultation is essential to maintaining the boundaries required for successful lifestyle.
As I supervisor I strive to be open-minded about the diverse course of actions while consulting a case, I encourage awareness of parallel processes and transference/countertransference. In my general framework I consider the dynamic aspects in the patient-therapist relationship, in hand with the behavioral instances and our nature as biological beings.
My approach is inevitably multicultural and informed by the variety of environments I have practice in my professional career: private practice, Non-Profit based Mental Health Clinics, Hospitals, and Schools.
Last but not least, I provide a space to efficiently troubleshoot everyday challenges when working with patients that go beyond treatment, keeping ethics and your values aligned to your best practices inside and outside of the therapy room
