About Leny Virginia
About Me
I am a clinical psychologist with over ten years of experience in New York. I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work from New York University and specialize in helping individuals and families overcome trauma, loss, anxiety, depression, and major psychiatric disorders.
Currently, I am a faculty member at Columbia University, teaching master’s level courses. I also serve as a board member at Open Minds Early School and consult for the Association to Benefit Children.
Previously, I worked as a school psychologist at Instituto Educacional Juan XXIII, a K-12 school, conducting psychological assessments and developing therapeutic interventions for students. I have a passion for teaching and have instructed courses on Behavioral Modification Techniques and Psychiatric Assessments at a Community College.
Outside of work, I enjoy connecting with my community and exploring new ways to support mental health and well-being. I believe that by exploring our internal world, we can unlock our true potential and lead more fulfilling lives.
Looking forward to connecting with you!,
Sincerely,
Leny V. Bolivar, MS, LCSW
